Description:
"Virtual Renal Cell Tumor Board" is a case-based discussion highlighting current issues and changing dynamics in the treatment of renal cell carcinoma. The panel of experts discuss the most appropriate management options for the cases and emphasize a multidisciplinary team approach to treatment.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the diagnostic evaluation of patients with renal cell cancer
2. Cite evidence-based therapy recommendations for the cases presented
3. Review modern multidisciplinary treatment options and outcomes for renal cell cancer patients including the use of novel targeted agents
4. Describe the evolving role of neoadjuvant systemic therapy
5. Describe appropriate front line therapies for metastatic RCC
6. Describe research into 2nd line treatment options for TKI refractory patients
7. Review the integration of surgery and systemic therapy in the treatment of patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma
Target Audience:
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of medical oncologists and urologists involved in the care of patients with renal cell carcinoma.

- Choice of agents
- Role of neoadjuvant therapy
- Timing of surgery
- Role of cytoreductive surgery
- Surgical management of residual disease
- Relapse, TKI Refractory
3. Poor risk/unresectable mRCC
- When is cytoreduction contraindicated?
- Treatment options for poor risk disease
- Impact of targeted therapy on primary tumor downstaging
